The Core: A Journey into the Good News of Jesus…(theme of our 2011 Summer Series) got off to a great start last Wednesday. Next Wednesday, the 15th, David Allen will be with us from Northside church of Christ. He’ll be working from the book of Galatians. This series is a wonderful opportunity to build our ability to share the good news of Jesus with others. Each letter has a unique angle into how the message of Jesus is portrayed and disciples are formed. Each speaks to people at different places along the journey. I pray you’ll join us each Wednesday evening at 7:00.

Our thanks goes to Gailyn and Becky VanRheenen for joining us last Sunday (5th) to share with us a bit about Mission Alive, and more so to share their experience of life in the church as a gathered and a scattered people, always joining up and participating in God’s mission. Let’s continue to pray diligently for Donna Anderson. She is recovering at home, but under much pain. It was good to hear her laugh a little a few days ago. Let’s pray that her recovery go quickly by the healing hand of our God.
